Capital City Vintage was started from the ground up in 2021. After working tirelessly for three years at markets, malls, intense market research, and analyzing trends - we opened a brick and mortar store in 2024

Vendor Requirements

  • Items must be vintage, over 20 years or older, or highly collectible. New vintage inspired items from temu/homesense/amazon/shein will not be permitted.
  • Items must not be offensive or promote any previous historical events that would be considered offensive
  • Vendors must have access to their own computer, electronic banking, google drive, and be self sufficient at finding information required for vendors on a google drive provided to vendors.
  • No industrial or wire shelving permitted
  • No partitions or wall dividers permitted
  • No walls or peg/slat board permitted

FAQ

Do I need to have a business name? Yes

Are there walls? Only in some booths.

Is there electricity? Only in some booths.

Can I put up walls? No, you cannot install large walls into your space.

Can I put nails/screws in the walls? Yes

Will you ship? We are working on bringing shipping to our customers in 2026.

When can I stock? We have designated vendor nights and windows of time before store open.

Can I have clothing in my booth, or is it only allowed in the clothing area? Booths may have clothing, but a safe rack is required.

Do your charge a deposit, why? Yes, instead of keeping credit cards on file we charge first month as well as one month deposit. This covers us if you fail to sell enough or pay us for rent.

What software do you use? Ricochet

How are vendors paid? Vendors are paid on the first of the month (as long as it isn’t a holiday) via Email Money Transfer.

Why no walls? We have selected a different and more open and inviting set up. Walls also assist with theft, and limit creativity.
